Andrew Papas
Andrew is Director and Principal Physiotherapist of ‘SOS Physiotherapy’. He has years of extensive experience in musculoskeletal injuries including sports and work injuries, treatment of orthopaedic conditions, application and removal of plaster/fibreglass casts, treatment for headache and exercise therapy/rehabilitation. Andrew has also been trained in the application of state-of-the-art GaitScan technology which with his clinical experience and interest in lower limb biomechanics, allows custom-made orthotics to be prescribed and made for patients where orthotic therapy is indicated. Andrew is also Director of ‘SOS Aged Care Physiotherapy’ which is a service that caters for residents of aged care facilities.
Andrew completed his first degree in Medical Science at the University of NSW. This was followed by his undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. After a few years in private practice, Andrew pursued further postgraduate studies and completed a Masters in Musculoskeletal/Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2005 followed by a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2006, both at the University of Sydney.
Andrew’s experience includes holding positions as Physiotherapist for Sydney Cosmos Soccer Club (1996), Moorebank Bulldogs Metropolitan Cup Rugby League (1996-1998), Australian OzTag (1998-1999), Lindfield Rugby Union Club (1999), Sutherland Shire Netball Association (2000), Australian University Games (2001), NSW Rugby League Western Suburbs Magpies Football Club (2002-2004), NRL WestsTigers (2002-2003) and the NSW Country Origin Team (2003) and Newtown Jets Premier League (2009). Andrew also lectured in Anatomy at the University of Western Sydney in 2002 and 2003.

Jeffrey Wolak completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 2002 and a Masters in Health Science (Physiotherapy) in 2009. He has a special interest in sporting injuries particularly racquet sports and knee injuries. He has 4 years experience as an Exercise Therapist in Ottawa, Canada where he trained with the Canadian Badminton Team during 2000-2005.

Kathy Papas
Paediatric Physiotherapist

Kathy is an experienced physiotherapist in paediatrics and aged care. Her clinical interest in paediatric physiotherapy started early as new graduate working at Fairfield Hospital. She then took on a position as Paediatric Physiotherapist at Campbelltown Hospital as well as a part time position at Westmead Children’s Hospital. After a few years a Head of the Physiotherapy Department at Campbelltown Hospital, Kathy started consulting in private practice at SOS Physiotherapy. Her experience adds a unique and very much needed service for children from ages from birth to 7 years who may have special needs and physical disabilities. Kathy is also a senior Aged Care Physiotherapy consultant.
